7 things you should know before buying your android and windows smartphones

GPU (graphic processing unit)

Usually most of the users don't know use of it but it is very important feature.

Do you like playing games on your mobile? 😃 yeah,ok did you notice,  on your device ,some games run smooth and some not,you know why?

Every game has its own graphics requirements and your GPU will decide whether a game run smooth or not  so your smartphone graphics card should be best

I am not writing here its hard definition because most of you aren't familiar with terms like frame rate, buffering etc.

Adreno 305,Adreno 320 and adreno 203
are the examples of GPU

Accelerometer

The accelerometer is a built-in sensor that detects tilt and motion gesture. It is  capable of detecting rotation

The most common use  is to activate auto screen rotation on mobile devices.

accelerometer  controls the mobile device music player with gestures .you can pause music  by turning your mobile face down

GEO-TAG

If you have a gps-enabled device then this feature will work in your phone.when you take a pic then all information related to your geo-location will be recorded.

Some new cameraphones support automatic geo-tagging
Sometimes on facebook you see the location of your friend with pics.that is magic of this feature

proximity

Proximity sensor is a sensor that is capable of detecting nearby objects without actual touch
Proximity sensor turns the display light off to prevent accidental touch of your ears whenever you call someone

Resolution

A term that refers to the number of pixels on a display or in a camera sensor.higher resolution mean clear pictures due to high pixels.

two displays with the same resolution can have different physical dimensions. And since there will be more pixels per inch on the smaller one, the image provided by it should be clearer

PPI(Pixel per inch)

When you check the specifications of you phone, you see ppi in display section.it is the pixel per inch value

High ppi means more detailed information of pictures i.e clarity of images
You have to be very careful while purchasing phone because it is not necessary that bigger screen phones have more ppi

There is an example below for you

Karbonn titanium s5 have display quality
540 x 960 pixels, 5.0 inches (~220 ppi pixel density)
Nokia Lumia 520 have display quality
480 x 800 pixels, 4.0 inches (~233 ppi pixel density)

Here Lumia 520 has more ppi that titanium, so Lumia 520 is best in term of image clarity

Multicore processors

Have you heard of octacore, quadcore and dual core processors?

What is difference among them? Ok  I tell you with example if you have quad core processor then with the help of that you can open four different program without affecting speed of one another

Your phone will work fast if you have multicore processor

Ok these are the  features and I think you have enjoyed the post so this can help you little bit to choose you favourite all-time companion
